Platinum-group elements in magnetic concentrates from the Goodnews Bay district, Alaska /

Platinum-group elements (PGE) occur in magnetic concentrates as discrete mineral grains, as inclusions in magnetite, and as diffused atoms in the magnetite lattice. The finer fractions of the magnetic concentrates contain the greatest amounts of PGE.
